El corpus holmesiano no es demasiado extenso. La abundancia de pastiches (parodias) de relatos inspirados en los de Holmes ha liado algo al personal aunque digamos de paso que los hay realmente tan buenos como los originales (no hablo del que yo mismo sin ir más lejos estoy escribiendo; eso llegará cuando lo finalice de una santa vez). Por nuestra parte pronto recordaremos uno, en castellano, pequeña preciosidad que cuando tengamos tiempo aquí pondremos (mientras algún feroz heredero de los derechos, vulgo causahabiente, nos deje).

Pero a lo que íbamos, que con esa facultad nuestra de liarnos no llegaremos nunca, que definición del corpus holmesiano habemus. Como luego se verá, hay 9 obras y el Canon consta de 60 piezas o 61 si es que cuenta al prefacio de His Last Bow como independiente de ésta, para lo que hay razones). Es el siguiente; y como hay obras largas y cortas, libros y más breves relatos, he destacado en amarillo los componentes.
